How do you make a campaign during lockdown? Make a campaign within lockdown.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, everyone was spending a lot of time at home with their families. Even us. So we safely shot an ad campaign from home with our own family, and told our customers that they too, could stave off boredom and foster togetherness by filming a Domino’s home movie, and enter the Domino’s Homemade Film Festival for a chance to win free family pizza nights for a year.

My partner location-scouted his own house, and cast his own daughters. Our producer (and my darling husband, shameless plug) filmed on an iPhone. Our copywriter directed. Our studio team and art director hand-crafted props and went on a large-scale face-masked Target run for supplies. And me? Well, I sat at home as I went into labor, patiently waiting for my husband to get done filming so we could head to the hospital to deliver our baby boy.
